IND-EX is located in the heart of the nation’s primary
rubber-manufacturing region, where we have been buying rubber for
many years. The rubber compounders who manufacture for our customers
produce the highest-quality materials in both standard and
customized formulations. We can supply virtually any kind of rubber,
which can be tinted to the color you need.
Since opening our doors in the spring of 2000, IND-EX has become
known for creative problem-solving. Ask our experts for assistance
in determining the best material for your application. Our staff of
chemists is also available for consultation to evaluate custom
compounds for special needs.
The IND-EX plant features State-of-the-Art Equipment. Our digital
controls maintain very close tolerances, which means maximum
accuracy in translating blueprints into custom-made dies—as well as
consistent, accurate extrusions. We avoid the limitations of
microwave processing by using instead continuous cure technology
that that allows us to make long-run extrusions of virtually any
length.
Recent plant and process enhancements allow us to offer features and
services that are difficult to find elsewhere—all available here
from a single source. Our production capabilities include
pressure-sensitive adhesion, cutting, notching and splicing. With a
full-time die-maker on staff and our own machine shop in our
plant—we can produce our own dies in-house. Typical turnaround is
only two to three days! And our optical comparator gives us the
ability to duplicate parts easily on-site, as well as quality-check
extrusions in-line to accelerate production schedules even more.
Extrusion capabilities at IND-EX include standard and custom shapes
and profiles, seals, weatherstripping and rubber straps. We can
provide O-ring stock in continuous lengths to 1,000 feet and longer.
IND-EX can easily produce non-reinforced tubing suitable for
applications ranging from air conditioning to cosmetics to
low-pressure hoses for fish tanks. We are qualified to supply
quality extrusions for a wide variety of industries, including
agricultural, appliance, construction, food processing, packing and
the automotive aftermarket.
