SPECIALTY
RUBBER EXTRUSION MANUFACTURER IND-EX INC. OFFERS NEW
CATALOG
Bronx, N.Y.-- Both in-house stock and unlimited
custom capabilities are featured in a new 16-page,
full-color product catalog now available on request
from IND-EX Inc. of Middlefield, Ohio. Available as
well for downloading from
www.ind-ex.biz,
the catalog provides dozens of schematics with
specification details for standard seal and gasket
profiles, including extruded INTUMETTM
intumescent fire and smoke seals, and cord stock.
Firestopping applications using INTUMET extrusions
are highlighted in a separate section. A convenient
reference chart and compatibility guides show
applications and physical properties for standard
rubber materials supplied by IND-EX, including: EPDM,
natural and synthetic rubber, neoprene, nitrile, SBR
and silicone--all available in both dense and sponge
compounds. In addition, the catalog explains
IND-EX's capabilities for supplying custom compounds
and precision profiles to specification for
companies and jobbers with unique applications and
needs requiring good-quality extrusions and timely
delivery.
IND-EX
can supply cord in any size from .88" to 1.5" in
both standard and specialty shapes, in continuous
sections to virtually any length. Pricing from IND-EX
on large runs of cord, as well ID/OD (inner
dimension/outer dimension) tubing in standard or
custom sizes, provides exceptional value by all
measures.
Specializing in creative problem-solving, IND-EX's
value-added capabilities provide features and
services that are difficult to find elsewhere--and
are rarely available from a single source. In-house
production capabilities include cutting, splicing,
notching and taping rubber extrusions. With a
full-time die-maker on staff and a fully-equipped
machine shop in its plant, IND-EX produces its own
dies in-house, with typical turnaround of two to
three days. In addition, the company uses an optical
comparator to duplicate parts easily on-site, as
well as accelerate production schedules by
quality-checking extrusions in-line.
A
wholly owned subsidiary of Zero International of
Bronx, New York, IND-EX supplies materials for its
parent's door and window gasketing products and can
offer particular value in extrusions for glazing and
firestopping applications. The company is also well
qualified to supply quality extrusions for a wide
variety of other industries, including agricultural,
appliance, construction, food processing, packing
and the automotive aftermarket. To discuss special
needs, contact Roy Keech,
General Manager.
